My summer bucket list- RECAP


At the beginning of June I posted a bucket list of things I wanted to do this summer.  I thought I would show you how I did with keeping up with the list...

I put a strike through the ones that I got to do
  1. Drive in movie
  2. Trip to the zoo
  3. Hiking
  4. Watch fireworks - I got to see fireworks when I went to the baseball game with my mom AND my husband and I watched them from our front porch.  Paige fell asleep too early to see them
  5. Hang out by the pool - Yesssss.....and it was GLORIOUS!
  6. Go to a food festival - Post on this one coming up soon!!
  7. Go to an amusement park - We made it to Kennywood park this year!!  Had so much fun
  8. Be a beach bum - We went on a long weekend trip to Ocean City, MD and Paige LOVED it!!
  9. Have a bon fire
  10. Play in the sprinkler
Only half!!! Boooo! I'm so disappointed in myself.....although if I had to admit it I would have thought we did even less than that. Does anyone else feel like it rained a little too much this year??? And we also have strange cooler days too..... So maybe it wasn't COMPLETELY our fault.

We also got to do a few things that weren't on my list that I've been wanting to do.  Like going to see a rock band that I have been wanting to see since I was a teenager,  an unforgettable night out with my hubby, and FINALLY making it to the Pittsburgh Arts festival.


We may still have a couple more weeks of warm weather left for me to try to squeeze a couple more items off of that list....

    You still have time! Don't give up yet, lol. I say summer isn't over til labor day weekend is!
