Currently I am...
Loving all of my morning snuggles with my little one.
Reading The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. It's 662 pages long, so it's definitely going to take me a while but I am loving it so far!
Feeling kind of blah. Still fighting with this migraines. Hopefully we can get something figured out soon
Watching The Blacklist. I'm a couple episodes behind but the show has me hooked for sure. I've also been watching the first seasons of Orange is the New Black and American Horror Story: Murder House.
Writing a ton of fun new posts for the next couple weeks. I've been pretty good with scheduling ahead! Woohoo! Go me! lol
Listening to a recording of my father in law's live band show from a couple weekends ago. My husband is mastering it to a cd for them so they can listen to what changes they need to make and practice with it. They are really good! They play stuff like: ZZ Top, Tom Petty, Lynyrd Skynyrd, etc.
Wanting to be able to give our daughter an amazing Christmas. Money is tight right now, so I'm getting nervous. I've been buying a couple little things here and there so hopefully it will all come together
Needing to get off of my lazy butt and throw something in the crockpot for dinner!
Hoping to find a good fulltime office job. Still! The hunt continues..
Trying to find an awesome birthday present for the hubby next week! I've got a couple ideas..
What have you all been up to nowadays??
Hope you get rid of your migraines. I can't imagine trying to go through daily life with that kind of pain. I feel for you. And don't stress about Christmas. It will be all about the memories you create more than the presents she receives!

Loved reading about what's going on with you :) We are having a tight tight tight Christmas this year too, I had surgery this past Friday and it cost us A LOT of $$$$$ out of pocket -- so I am making a lot of gifts --- if your daughter has seen Frozen -- maybe you could make this for her --- http://www.pinterest.com/pin/145944844150464420/ -- it looks pretty easy and TOTALLY adorable too! :)
ReplyDeleteIt is definitely a struggle with these migraines... Some days are better than others but when I have the really bad days I can't even get out of bed. And as for Christmas, you are absolutely right. It's not about the presents. I just really want to give my daughter everything...lol
ReplyDeleteOh geez, I hope everything with your surgery went well. Paige still hasn't seen Frozen. She hasn't been into the Disney princesses much yet. It's all about Minnie and Mickey Mouse! haha! I will have to save that for later tho, because I know the princess stage is coming. She's already so girly lol
ReplyDeleteHope your migraines go away, stat. Glad you are getting snuggles, they are so fun.
ReplyDeleteWhat is the book about?
Thank you, me too! They have really been kicking my butt lately.
ReplyDeleteThe Name of the Wind - (stolen from Goodreads) This is the tale of the magically gifted young man who grows to be the most notorious wizard his world has ever seen. The intimate narrative of his childhood in a troupe of traveling players, his years spent as a near-feral orphan in a crime-ridden city, his daringly brazen yet successful bid to enter a legendary school of magic, and his life as a fugitive after the murder of a king form a gripping coming-of-age story unrivaled in recent literature
My husband read it and loved it, so I had to give it a try.
I totally feel you on the cooking front. I'm epically bad at it. A few times we opted for pancakes or avocado toast because I didn't feel like making anything substantial or go to the grocery store.
ReplyDeleteI hope your migraines subside. What kind of office job are you looking for?
hahaha exactly!!
ReplyDeleteI've mostly worked in a medical office environment but I'm open to other areas too, as long as it's fulltime with a set schedule! I have to be able to tell the daycare what days/times I need them.
<3 this! I just threw something in the crockpot...trying a pinterest recipe for Cowboy Casserole.
ReplyDeletei love blacklist! i think i watched the whole season on netflix in like 3 days, lol!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great list!!! I'm sure your christmas will be amazing!! Little kids don't really notice how much money you spend!
ReplyDeleteI've heard such great things about Blacklist! But I havent watched it :( x
ReplyDeleteHmmm Cowboy Casserole? I've never heard of that one. What's in it? Are you sharing it on your blog?
ReplyDeleteIsn't it so good!! I just watched the Fall finale last night! So good! I can't wait until it comes back in Feb
ReplyDeleteYeah, for now she is young enough that she won't notice or even really understand what's happening. lol
ReplyDeleteOh it's SO good! I definitely recommend it!
ReplyDeleteI hope that your migraines go away soon! That doesn't make anything easy. Good job with keeping ahead of schedule with your posts!
ReplyDeleteThank you, me too! These migraines have made it so difficult to get anything done!
ReplyDeleteYou're life kinda sounds like mine haha. I have been feeling kind of blah lately too and I just finished season 1 of the blacklist! SO good.

ReplyDeleteThank you, me too! The migraines have been terrible! Sometimes I can't even get out of bed. And you are so right, we were super broke when I was a kid too and I never knew.
ReplyDeleteI also suffer with migraines. I hope you get some relief soon. Currently I am looking forward to putting up our Christmas Tree! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much. Migraines are so awful! I can't stand feeling like that. I can't wait to start decorating for Christmas! We wait until the weekend after Thanksgiving every year.
