OUTFIT: Black lace with a red maxi skirt



It's finally getting warm enough for me to pull out the sandals and sleeveless tops!  I'm more than a little happy about that one!  I am definitely a warm weather girl.  I was so excited that I even painted my toes! haha!

Whenever I wear lace, I like to add a few edgier pieces with it to balance the feminine feeling pieces.

I've still been struggling with my migraines/headaches, so please be patient with me!  I've been catching up with everyone's posts and emails as fast as I can.  I've been having a pretty rough time with the pain for the past week or so.



Top - Express
Skirt - Charlotte Russe

I had to add the picture of the hair in my face just because it never fails, the wind always goes crazy as soon as I want to take outfit photos.  I think it's funny!

    Thanks so much Julie! The migraines have definitely been kicking my butt lately. I have been having a lot of bad days with them lately. Hopefully I can get myself back on track soon. So frustrating!

    Love this look on you! I like to balance feminine pieces with something a bit more edgy too. I really need to pick up a few maxi skirts for summer. I'm planning to paint my toes tonight. I took off my old chipped polish last night...you know, one step at a time haha I'm lazy! So sorry to hear about your migraines. Hope you are feeling better soon :-)

    This is such a great look. How nice is it to wear short sleeves and have your toes out haha! I had a bad headache the past few days, so I really sympathise with your migraine.

    Red is my favorite color so you know I love that skirt. Such a nice lace tank also. I recognized that it was from Express. Red+black is always a winning combo.

    It was definitely refreshing to not have to wear a big sweater! I love the warmer months, if I could get my husband to agree we would move farther south where it's warm year round. lol!

    Yeah! We had a day where it got up to 70 degrees and was nice a sunny. It was great! The weather cooled off a bit and we've been getting rain since. And thanks girl!!

    I'm so jealous that you can wear sandals! It's not that warm here yet but I cannot wait to put my sandals on. I really like the maxi skirt, I need to invest in more of those for the summer because they are so comfy.

    It's cooled off a bit and started raining A LOT lol...So no sandals for me today. lol! I wear maxi skirts constantly in the spring and summer. They are so comfortable
