Last week I missed Social Sunday because I was on vacation, but I am back this week to answer fun new questions.  So here we go!!

THIS WEEK'S QUESTIONS:

1. Gum or mints?
Mints.  If I chew gum to long it starts to hurt my jaw/teeth.  I also can't stand how gum loses it flavor so fast.  I also can't stand how people chew gum and look like camels/cows chewing.  Drives me nuts!!

2. Tea or Coffee?

Tea.  I gave up coffee after college.  I used to drink WAY too much coffee and sometimes it would make my heart feel like it was going to explode.  I switched to tea and it helped a lot.  Tea also helps me get to sleep at night.

3. Fruits or Veggies?

Both!  I usually have a huge sweet tooth but I find myself craving salads sometimes too.  I will go to a restaurant just because I remember that I like their salad dressing. haha!!

4. TV or Movies?

I LOVE movies but now that we have the little one, I don't really have much time to watch them anymore.  I don't watch too much tv either because we keep the Disney channel on for my daughter.  She loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. lol

5. Candles or Diffusers?
Neither.  I like the scent warmers (the ones that you put a block of wax into and it makes the whole house smell amazing).  Candles make me nervous because of the open flame.  I have a cat that once set himself on fire because of one!  (He was fine, just singed his tail a little)

1. What is the most difficult thing you have been through?
When my husband and I were trying to start a family we had a very difficult time conceiving and then after a year of trying we found out we were pregnant...  and then we miscarried at 12 weeks.  It was devastating.  But it brought us even closer together...and we now have a daughter who is a year and a half old.

2. What was your best birthday?
Probably the first year that my hubby and I started dating.  My birthday is right before Halloween so we went out to a karaoke bar for their costume night with a bunch of my friends and had some drinks.  My husband and my best friend are great singers.... Me? well, I will stick to cheering them on from the audience. haha!

3. What has been your favorite thing you’ve done in your own city?
Zipling!  We have a park somewhat near us (about 40minutes away) that has an attraction called Go Ape.  My husband and I went last year and it was sooo much fun!  They have obstacle course that you have to get through and then at the end of each level you zipline through the trees to the next course.  We are both very athletic and adventurous types so we had a lot of fun.  I should write a post about that soon!

4. What is your idea of the perfect date night?
Lately?  Just being able to go out and have an actual conversation would be nice. haha!  When you have a little one that requires all of your attention, any night out is perfect.

5. Have you ever been to a blogging conference? If so which one(s)? If not do you want to?

I haven't yet, but I would really love to!  I see so many bloggers posting about theirs but unfortunately I haven't seen or heard about any in the Pittsburgh area.

1. Tell us about the family you grew up in, parents, siblings, grandparents.
In one word...HUGE! haha!  I have 8 siblings! (siblings, half siblings, and stepsiblings) My dad's side of the family is really huge...and they are crazy.  Every year we have a family reunion and when I was younger there were close to 300-400 people there!  As the years went on, they have gotten smaller and smaller though.  My dad's side of the family are the one's with "short fuses" and my mom's side are USUALLY the more reserved side.

2. Tell us about your husband, fiancé, boyfriend, significant other.
My husband and I celebrated our 4 year wedding anniversary last week!  He is my best friend in the whole world.  I've known him since I was 13 years old. haha!  I posted all about our wedding, wedding details, engagement, and honeymoon last week.

3. Tell us about your children. If you don’t have children, talk about your fur children.
We have a daughter named Paige who is almost a year and a half old.  She has nonstop energy and never sits still for long.  She's so smart already and makes her momma proud every day.  We also have a kitty named Momma's Boy who is around 8 years old now.  He is a little sweetheart but sometimes he makes us a little crazy too.

4. Tell us about your best friends. How long have you known them? How did you meet?
My best friends are Nikki, Angel, Jess and my mom.  Nikki- I have known for about 11 years.  She is the first person I call to tell anything.  We act like complete goofballs all of the time.  She is also the godmother of my daughter.  Angel and Jess I have known since elementary school.  We are the type of friends that don't get to see each other much but when we do everything picks up right where we left off.  My mom is the best mom in the whole world.  We've always been really close.

5. Tell us about any other special people in your life.
My father in law is also an amazing person.  He always tries to help us in any way that he can, and he LOVES hanging out with little Paige so sometimes my hubby and I can sneak out for much needed date days.

I hope everyone had a great and safe 4th of July!!

Unfortunately, I missed last weeks Sunday Social questions.  There were a lot of really good ones too. Booo...  Anyway, I am back this week to answer the 5 new questions.

1. Favorite Genre of Music?

I love a little bit of everything.  It all depends on the mood I am in.

2. Favorite Genre of movies?

I'm a comedy girl...and if there's a underlying romance, that's an added bonus.

3. Do you watch Reality TV? If so what was the first show you remember watching

I'm not a big reality tv fan.  I think the first one I remember ever seeing was Road Rules on MTV.  Drama, Drama, Drama...lol

4. Actress you’d want to be BFF’s with?

Zooey Deschanel.  Because she's amazing!  She's super funny and so very awkward, like me. haha!

5. Actor you’d be happy to be stuck on an island with?

Jason Statham... mmmm...but don't tell my hubby ;-)  I could listen to that man talk all day....haha!

1. What’s your favorite scary movie?
I don't know that I have a "favorite" but the ones that always scared me the most were the Freddy Krueger movies.

2. What is your favorite weird TV show you think no one else watches?
For a while a was a little obsessed with the "Say Yes to the Dress" shows. haha!!  Those are the one were a lot of really obnoxious women are looking for their perfect wedding dress and having a really hard time.  I just liked to see what one they ended up with.

3. What is the song you can sing all the words to without any music?
"I'm Yours" - Jason Mraz.  It me and my hubby's song <3

4. What is your favorite book to re read?
I have re read the Lord of the Rings book SO. MANY. TIMES. that I had to rebuy them because they were falling apart.

5. The one website you visit more times a day than others?
Facebook.  I'm addicted

• Talk2theTrees - I've been following her blog for a very long time, WAY before I was ever blogging.  She's a fantastic artist and a very unique soul
• Vintage Lollipops- She is another art blogger, whose style I absolutely LOVE.  She creates beautiful work and shares her great photos.

1. When do you take time for you?
When my daughter takes her nap in the middle of the day, and sometimes after she goes to bed at night. She's 15 months old so she is at that age when she is into EVERYTHING, so I have to watch her closely.

2. What do you find to be your biggest weakness?
I'm very overly critical of myself.

3. What is your biggest attribute?
I'm a very creative person. I always have a new idea in my head that I can't wait to create; whether it be new art, a craft, or even a blog post idea.

4. What is your favorite place to shop online?
Oh man, I don't think I can pick just one... Forever 21, Express, Charlotte Russe, and Wet Seal. Clothes!! I'm obsessed!

5. What is your favorite place to kill time?
The internet. That counts, right? When I turn on my computer it's amazing how much time goes by. lol!

1. What is your favorite handbag you own?
My checkered Chanel bag.  It's soooo old but I LOVE it.

2. 3 things you would buy right now if money was no object?
1. WAY too much clothes     2. A bigger house     3. hire a maid! hahaha!

3. Name a place you would go right now if given a plane ticket to anywhere?
St. Lucia!!  I love being on the beach and every picture I've ever seen of there looked amazing.  Everyone I know that's been there said it was the best vacation they've ever had.

4. What is the most valuable life lesson you’ve learned from blogging?
To always keep trying new things and learning new things every day.

5. What is the most valuable life lesson you’ve learned from a friend?
To cherish every moment I have with my loved ones.  My husband and one of my best friend's lost their mother really young so I take advantage of every second I can spend time with my mom.  She's my best friend.

1. What is your best summer memory as a kid?

Always being outdoors with my older brother.  I've always been a big outdoorsy person but whenever I was really young I used to follow my brother everywhere he went. lol

2. What is your favorite summer drink?

Strawberry lemonade!  The perfect combination or sweet and sour!

3. What is your favorite summer TV show?

I actually don't watch too much TV in the summer.  I'm usually out at a park or something.

4. What is the best outdoor summer activity?

Swimming, rock climbing, hiking, water slides....I love summer!

5. What are your summer vacation essentials?

Bathing suit and a beach!!

Full House

2. What was your favorite Saturday morning TV show?

Tiny Toons and Animaniacs!!  Loved them!!

 

3. Mickey Mouse Club or Kids Incorporated.?

haha I actually didn't watch either.  I'm not even sure what Kids Incorporated is...so I guess I'll have to say MMC

4. Zack Morris or AC Slater?

Definitely Zack Morris!  I couldn't stand it when Kelly got with Slater.  She was supposed to be with Zack! lol

5. Which show would you love to see remade? (For example, Boy Meets World is back as Girl Meets World)

I'm not sure if a spin off of Full House would be really awesome or really bad but I'm almost positive I would watch it either way. lol  I think they could make it really funny if they made it mostly about these guys.
