A Firmoo glasses GIVEAWAY!!!

Last year at the end of the year, I worked with a great company called Firmoo.  They are the world's most popular online eyewear store.  I've been wearing their glasses for almost a year now and I still love them just as much as when I first tried them on.  I was very impressed with the quality of the frames and how comfortable they were.

Firmoo's website is very easy to navigate and you can search by shape, material, size, color, etc.  You also have the option of uploading your own picture instead of the using the stock photos for a virtual “try-on” session. Once your picture is loaded onto the site, every pair of glasses you view will offer the option of showing them on your photograph. This gives you an idea of what the glasses are going to look like. So helpful, because I was really nervous about what they would look like on me since I've never ordered glasses online before.

The checkout process is very straightforward and easy.  Honestly, the hardest part of the process was choosing a pair of frames. There are so many great styles to choose from and I am probably the most indecisive person in the whole world.

April Goals & GIVEAWAY

Hi everybody! I'm a little late posting this morning because I've got a bit of a headache forming...bleh! So this will be pretty short, but don't forget to stick around until the end because there's a great giveaway! So here we go:

April Goals:

// I would like to get back into doing my art posts every Friday. It's been a few months now since I've posted anything, so I need to get back on track with that.

// On the same note, I would like to get some prints made of my artwork that I do have completed and open my Etsy shop (finally!). I would like to get all of this done this month and hold a giveaway for one of my prints. Sound good?! And I will also offer a promotional code for the grand opening, so stay tuned!

// I will continue to be posting 4-5 days a week. That seems to be working well for me. And I will continue to always have a personal fashion post every Monday, people seem to enjoy that one!

// I would LOVE to start some Spring cleaning this month. Our house really needs it. Our basement has become our "just throw everything in this room" zone, and I would love to turn some of the space into my home office/studio. Fingers crossed!

Bourbon, Lipstick, and Stilettos & A Giveaway!!

If there was an award for best blog name ever, I'm almost positive Lindsay would win that title.  I knew I was in blogger love the second I read the name.  I love it!  It's also great to know that someone else has the same social media pet peeves as me.  I'm not alone in my rage, and that is a beautiful thing.

As you all have probably heard me mention a bunch of times by now, I've really been on the hunt to find beauty products that I really love.  I love her product picks posts and I can't wait to give a few of them a try!  If beauty products are not what floats your boat, she's also shared a few of her tv show recommendations that I will definitely be adding to my "watch" list, and I've already started "You're the Worst" and I'm LOVING it!  Thanks girl!!

1. Tell me a little about yourself and your blog.
I'm a 29-year-old Technical Writer from Kentucky. My blog mainly focuses on beauty products and tutorials, but I'll throw posts about clothes, shoes, drinks, television, and opinions. I also do a series every Thursday called "Beauty A-Z." I discuss my favorite products and tutorials as I walk through the alphabet!

2. Have you read any great books lately? If not, what are your favorite tv shows at the moment?

I am embarrassed to say that I haven't read anything lately, aside from blogs! My current favorite tv shows are Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, The Mindy Project, House of Cards, New Girl, and Mad Men. I'm SO SAD it's ending next month!

3. What are your biggest pet peeves?

My biggest pet peeve of all time is rudeness. I can't stand it. I also find myself increasingly annoyed with people who have bad manners.

4. If you had your choice of one food that you had to live off of forever what would it be?

Pizza! And chocolate. Can I choose two?

Well, it looks like the winter weather finally caught up to us around here.  We have snow in the forecast for almost every day this week.  Yuck!  I've been hibernating in the house for the most part with my hot chocolate because I am a super sissy.
