Feeling happy!  My daughter has been in a very happy and lovey mood lately.  She's been very affectionate for the past week or so.  It's been AWESOME!

Reading a book called Best Friends Forever by Jennifer Weiner.  A lot of people are telling me that it's not as good as her others but for only  50 cents at my library sale, I'll give it a shot anyways.

Watching the episodes of The Blacklist that I got really behind on.  I still have 3 more to go until I'm caught up!  Love this show!  Once I'm caught up, I will have to find something on Netflix to get hooked on.  I'm thinking Once Upon a Time or Breaking Bad.  I've tried Orange is the New Black and wasn't crazy about it.  Any other suggestions??

Writing my grocery shopping list down.  If I go to the grocery store without a list, I end up forgetting everything I needed and ending up with some really random stuff.

Listening to my ipod on shuffle mode.  It gets weird sometimes...  It just went from Led Zeppelin to Andy Grammer.

Wanting to eat every piece of chocolate in the house, but restraining myself.  Ohhh midnight cravings....

Needing to go to bed, I'm starting to get a little loopy.  ALSO, I need to see Cinderella...  I still haven't gotten to see it yet! And I would like to stick to an exercise schedule, but I think I say that every month sooo.....

Hoping my husband and I's weekend getaway (in May) doesn't fall through.  Part of me is REALLY anxious/scared about it because it's out first night being away from our daughter, but the other part of me really REALLY wants to get away for a little while...  and we have a pretty great little trip planned!

Have you read any good books lately?

  1. I hope that trip works out for you in May!! Would be so nice for the two of you. I can only imagine the things I would hear if I let my ipod play on shuffle haha I've had the same ipod forever and never clean-out my itunes, so it could get really interesting. I watched all of Breaking Bad and really liked it and have watched some of Once Upon a Time and enjoyed it too. Other shows I like are Suits, Nashville, and House of Cards. I'm thinking about watching that new Netflix show called Bloodline. I've heard good things, but don't know a lot about it!

  4. Weekend trips are so necessary although I'm sure leaving your daughter is scary! But happy parents make happy kids so remember than in reality you are taking this trip FOR HER! And enjoy every second of it!!

  10. Yeah, a lot of the stuff I have on my ipod is super old too, so it gets interesting if I just let it shuffle. Sometimes it's really funny, but most of the time it's just weird. lol. Especially because I have show tunes on it too...I'm a big theater dork. And thanks for the Netflix suggestions! I just caught up on The Blacklist and finished AHS so I need to find a new show to binge watch. haha

  17. I love it! Don't get me wrong, she is a very sweet little girl (most of the time), but she is very independent and always on the move. lol

  18. So weird! I don't get it! I've been trying to make myself stay away but it doesn't help that I still have a HUGE bag of mini sized candy bars left over from Valentine's Day! haha

  19. It is always interesting when I have my ipod on shuffle. I have a lot of show tunes on it because I'm a big theater dork, so it will go from something from Rent to Katy Perry...It gets weird. haha! I'm not too far into the book yet but so far I'm enjoying it. I'm going to try to get it read in the next week or so (as long as I don't get any more migraines...ugghhh!)

  21. Girl. If you haven't seen Breaking Bad you have to do that next! One of my all time favorite shows because it was so complete from start to finish. I didn't feel like they left loose ends and the character development was just phenomenal! Fun little update and I hope you make it on your getaway!

  22. Great updates on the current happening in your life. I can't imagine my daughter not being affectionate, I'm already getting scared of when that may change in the future.

  25. Thanks so much! We are actually staying somewhat local (Ohio - a little over 3 hours away) at a hotel with a waterpark inside and then going to Cedar Point to ride some coasters! We are going to try to hit The Rock n Roll Hall of Fame and either an art museum or the zoo too. We wanted to stay sort of close for our first time away from our daughter, just in case.

  26. It's definitely making me pretty anxious thinking about being away from her but I know my mom will take great care of her.

  27. My daughter is already pretty affectionate but she's been overly affectionate and has wanted to cuddle for hours, which isn't usually the case with her. She's a big bundle of energy so she's always on the move. LOL!

  28. So many people have been recommending Breaking Bad. I am definitely going to have to give that one a try! Thanks girl!

  30. Book sales are great! You definitely can't beat 50 cents for some quality entertainment. I just blew through Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt on Netflix and I need to find something else to watch now, too. I love re-watching old favorite series, like The Office and HIMYM. Planning for a getaway is exciting! I can't wait to see pictures!

  31. Book sales are the best! I've only watched two episodes of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (watched them last night) and I LOVED it! So funny! I'm getting more and more excited about my husband and I's getaway. It's going to be so much fun to get away for a while...even if I am going to be a huge baby about leaving our daughter with my mom for a few days. lol!

  32. I hope you'll be able to go on your getaway in May!! I've been catching up on The Mindy Project since I haven't seen third season at all. I want to watch Cinderella as well, it was my favourite Disney movie so I'm really excited to see it!
