OUTFIT: A date with my husband

Normally I try to take my outfit posts outside but yesterday I guess we forgot to put an sd card in the camera when we took them....sooo, no pictures from that.  I was really bummed because we took a lot of fun ones, and by the time I finally realized it, it was dark outside and I had to take new ones inside.  Boo!

Anyway, enough with the sulking!  I really wanted to wear a dress but mother nature decided to throw more snow at us, so I decided against that pretty quick.  The next best thing to a dress is leopard print, in my opinion.

We got to go out to eat at Longhorn and then go to a movie right afterwards.  (We saw Kingsman, and it was really good!!)  It was really nice to get out for a little while and have fun together.

Picture #1 - enjoying my hot chocolate, because I'm such a grown up!
Picture #2 - bathroom selfie at the restaurant because, why not?!
Picture #3 - I sit like such a lady in the theater....I guess it's a good thing I didn't wear the dress

Outfit details:

Have you seen any good movies lately?? What's your "go-to" date night?

  13. Cute! We just had a date night last night too! The first one in several months...I think a little alone time is so good for relationships! We usually just do dinner at a nice restaurant, ones we can't go to when the little one is with us :) glad you guys had fun! I haven't seen a movie at a theatre in ages lol

  21. This definitely isn't the first time I forgot about the SD card. And I'm sure it won't be the last! lol. I was so grumpy when taking these pictures haha! I don't like taking them indoors, I feel like the lighting always makes me look sick. Kingsman was really good...as soon as I got over the fact that Mr. Darcy (Colin Firth played Mr. Darcy in Pride & Prejudice) was a bad ass spy...lol

  22. Thank you so much! Yeah, I ended up feeling way too grumpy to want to pose for these but my husband said I should do it anyway. haha! It was really nice to be able to get out for a while

  25. Exactly! I thought we had a lot of really good ones the first time, but we didn't get any of them without the card. Booo! haha...it wasn't the first time it happened and I doubt it will be the last. lol!

  26. Date nights are definitely a way to remember that you aren't "just mom" and you are still in love wth your guy. And it's really nice to be able to eat a full warm meal! I'm always having to share everything with my little one. haha! Glad you got a night out too!

    ReplyDelete
  27. Yeah, I was pretty grumpy when I realized it, but my husband talked me into retaking them anyway. lol! I'm not a fan of indoor pictures as much but they will do, I guess. lol! And thank you!

  28. Thanks girl! I thought Kingsman was really good...once I got over Mr. Darcy (Colin Firth played Mr. Darcy in Pride & Prejudice) being a bad ass spy! lol

  29. hahaha yeah, it definitely wasn't the first time it happened, and I'm sure it will happen a billion more times. lol. And thank you! I love anything animal print! Kingsman was really good! I definitely recommend it!

  30. Thanks girl! I love anything animal print! I own probably more than any one person should have, but that's okay. haha!

  31. Oh man, I wish mine had that feature! lol. It says "no card in camera" right on the screen but my husband never sees it . Thanks so much girl! It was really nice to get out and have a little time with just us.

  32. Oooh forgetting to put the card in the camera is such a bummer!! I've done that a few times and it's always so disappointing. Love your top and those shoes are so cute. I remember when I used to wear dresses and really high heels out in the snow and now it's just not going to happen unless absolutely necessary haha We're planning a movie date soon. We haven't been since we went to see Wild (which I loved) and we have a ton of free passes, so that's going to be our go-to date for the next little while.

  33. I was really bummed when I realized that none of my pictures were saved, but oh well...I'm sure it will happen a billion more times. lol! Normally when I leave the house in the winter I have winter boots on but I decided to be a little different this time. haha! I've never seen Wild but so many people told me they loved it. Movie nights are always fun

  37. I love the outfit! And the shoes, omg; I saw a pair at Target that are similar, but they're flats and I already have a pair of leopard flats, though I suppose you can't have too much! The last movie in theaters that I saw was Into The Woods, but I really want to see The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (or whatever it's called!)

    ReplyDelete
  38. Thanks so much!! Would you believe I found those heels at Payless for only $12?! Yep, I had to get them. lol! Oh, I LOVED Into the Woods! That was the last movie we had seen too. Meryl Streep was amazing as the witch

    ReplyDelete
  39. It always amazes me when Meryl Streep acts. She's such a beautiful woman but she can play bad so well. And they made her absolutely hideous and she still can pull it off. How is that possible!

    ReplyDelete
  40. haha I know what you mean! That was probably my favorite role of hers ever! She really made the movie, in my opinion

    ReplyDelete
  41. Kingsman was so funny! Love all of the leopard print in your outfit! I have a pair of leopard print flats that I love!

  42. Wasn't it good?! I really liked it a lot...once I got over Colin Firth aka Mr. Darcy being a spy! haha! I'm such a nerd. Anyway, Thank you so much! I have a pair of leopard ballet flats that I used to wear all the time. They were my favorites forever!
