OUTFIT: Girl's night out

For the first time in MONTHS, I actually got a girl's night!  I actually can't even remember the last time I got to go out with my girls.  I blame the holidays.  Everyone is always so busy around that time of year and it takes a while to get settled down again.

On Saturday night we got together and went a a purse bash in my neighborhood.  It was $25 to get in and they call a giveway every ten minutes (the prizes were Coach or Michael Kors purses, and also cash prizes).  On top of that, they also had raffles, half the take tickets and a Chinese auction.  It was so much fun!

My mom actually ended up winning a super cute little Coach purse!  I didn't win anything but I got to let lose and have some fun, so that's okay with me.

I bought this super cute blazer a couple of weekends ago when I got to go on a little shopping spree.  I mentioned last week that I am planning to do a monthly spending post at the end of the month, so you will see it again.  I think it might be a teeny bit big but I can always take it in if I need too.

What did you do this weekend?  Have you ever been to a purse bash?

  6. I couldn't find it in my size at Old Navy either, so I searched around until I found one. I think Target has a similar one too. I just went for the cheaper one

  7. You know I love Burgundy, I am wearing more of it in today's post, come see. Those pants and the blazer are fantastic. I cannot believe that Blazer is from Wal Mart. I need a striped blazer like that.

  14. I was really impressed by the quality, even though it's from Wal Mart. The fit is a teeny bit bigger than I would like but I could always take it in if it bothers me. It was only $19!! Can't beat that!

  27. I really like that outfit and how you matched the striped blazer with the red jeans! I have a soft spot for coloured denim, and now that it's getting nicer out I'm excited to wear brighter stuff.

  28. Thanks so much! I am a huge fan of colored denim too. I read somewhere that they are being phased out and I was sad. I hope they were wrong...and even if they aren't wrong I will probably still wear them because I like them so much
