Neutrogena #WiperforWater Challenge

Did you know that every day you can waste up to 5 gallons of water just by washing your face? I had no idea!! In honor of Earth Month, Neutrogena Naturals has teamed up with actress Kristen Bell and The Nature Conservancy to help spread the word about water conservation through their #WipeForWater campaign. This brilliant initiative from Neutrogena is challenging consumers to clean their face without using water for up to one week. Instead of wasting water, they are asking consumers to use Neutrogena Naturals Purifying Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes to clean their face during their pledge. This simple switch will save up to five gallons of water from going down the drain each day – and 35 gallons in a week! For each pledge consumers take onWipeForWater.com, Neutrogena Naturals will contribute $1 to The Nature Conservancy to support water conservation, up to $50,000!

The Neutrogena Naturals Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes, that were sent to me by Influenster, are pre-moistened and come in a resealable container so they don't dry up.  They are made with pure, naturally-derived ingredients. They are clinically proven to completely remove makeup, including waterproof mascara! They are also free of harsh chemical sulfates, parabens, petrolatum, dyes and phthalates.

They require no rinsing after use, so I will be saving water when I remove my makeup at night. After I use them my skin feels fresh and with a healthy-looking glow.  I was really happy that it didn't leave that oily residue that some other makeup removers leave. They left my face feeling clean and completely makeup free. The wipes also have a pleasant apple-like smell that I really like too.  I thought they were the perfect size and only had to use one wipe each time.  I was also very pleasantly surprised by how well it took off my waterproof mascara!  They are sold at Target (for $6.99), so you don't have to go out of your way to find them, which is nice.

So are you ready to join me in celebrating Earth Month by taking the #WipeForWater Challenge?? Just click HERE and then sign-up for whichever pledge works best for you, then share your pledge via Twitter or Facebook. Super simple, easy and just one small step will make a BIG impact!

  1. I've been hesitant to try makeup wipes becuase they pull on the skin moreso than if you were to wash your face with water. I'm sure they're much quicker and easier to use though, especially while traveling. I read one girl keeps them by her bed for those nights when she's too tired to wash her face. They sure look like they did a great job of taking everything off!

  2. I love makeup wipes!! I still wash my face after (this includes water) but I feel its better to remove all my makeup and then wash my face. It gets it extra clean:))

  6. I used to use face wipes all the time for removing makeup but I would always have to wash my face after. I don't know what it is but I can't not wash my face at the end of the day. I like to wash my face in the shower, so maybe that's better than washing my face in the sink.

  7. It has definitely been weird to break the habit of washing my face after using the wipes, even though they do leave my face feeling clean. With any other makeup remover, I always washed my face right afterwards too.

  8. These makeup wipes are really nice. I didn't have to scrub to remove my eyeliner and waterproof mascara like I normally do. It just came right off!

  9. I normally used a face scrub every couple days and washed my face in the shower with soap but then I would have to really scrub to get the eyeliner and mascara off. These wipes took it right off, I was really surprised

  10. I really like them a lot! I will definitely have to buy them again when I run out. I couldn't believe how well they took off my eye makeup, without even burning my eyes ( I have VERY sensitive eyes)

  12. I was really surprised at how well and easily it took off my eye makeup. Normally I have to really scrub when I get out of the shower, but these little things are really handy. I'm pretty bad at remembering to wash my face at night so these have really helped with that too. lol!
