A casual winter outfit



Well, we got hit with even more snow over the weekend....yayy!  I was worried that with all of the snow that no one would be able to make it to my daughter's 2nd birthday party, but luckily there was still a few people that were able to be there.  The weather did get really nasty on Saturday.  After all of the snow hit, it started to rain and freeze on top of it.  Not exactly ideal driving weather.

Anyway, onto the outfit!  Would you believe I got this sweater for only $2 while out thrifting a couple weekends ago?!  It was originally $4, but it was half off that day!  I love polka dots, I just can't say no to them!  I had a couple other great finds thrifting that day too.  I will be sharing a couple more of them on Wednesday!




(and this was my "holy crap, are those birds going to attack me?!" face)

    Girl, you look great! The sweater is my favorite part and no I CANNOT believe you got it for $2. Happy birthday to your girl - I'm glad some people were able to make it! You guys stay snuggled up inside.

    Thanks girl!! I had such a good thrifting day! I'm sharing 2 more pieces that I pick up at the thrift shop on Wednesday too! lol. We spent the whole weekend snuggled up inside, so I'm starting to get cabin fever. lol! I seriously can't wait for some warmer weather

    I know! I couldn't believe I found it for so cheap. It's really funny because I saw a Pinterest post a long time ago with this sweater and wanted it ever since. I definitely went on a good day! I'm getting pretty sick of being cold. I can't wait until it warms up a bit outside

    Wow, $2!!!! Nice find! I'm glad some people still managed to make it to your daughter's 2nd birthday. We had pretty much the same weather here. We got back to Halifax Saturday night and it rained all day Sunday which has made walking the dog a little interesting! Might have to wear my ice skates for our walk later today ;-)

    I know!! It was such a steal! And I love the colors. The sun seems to be shining outside today but I don't think it's actually that warm out there. It's giving me a fake-out lol

    Oh my goodness those heels are amazing! And two bucks for such a cute sweater?? What a bargain! You could wear it tons of ways too since it's a neutral color and a pattern that's easy to match. Love this look so much! Oh, and super glad the party went well! Can't wait to see you other thrifted finds :)

    Yeah, you really can't beat $2!! I was way too excited about it. lol! I was very happy that we still had people showing up for her, I was so worried when the snow started. Luckily everyone lives fairly close
