Finally some good news!!


If you follow me on Instagram you may have already heard the good news: My husband just got a big promotion at work!  We have been waiting and hoping that he would find something out of the department that he is currently in.  He just has to finish out this month and train someone to replace him before he can start the new position on April 1st.  We couldn't be happier!!

We decided to go out to eat to celebrate, no where fancy, but I decided to dress up a teeny bit, just for him.  We went to Primanti Brother's, which is a famous Pittsburgh restaurant.  You may remember me talking about their sandwiches before.  Sooo good!  We wanted to go somewhere to have a celebratory drink.



I was also given an accent nail from Margaret at Jamberry Nails to try out.  I think I am the only person on the planet that had yet to try them out.  I don't normally paint my nails, but I was really intrigued by these.  She sent me a really pretty floral print, that just so happened to match my outfit. 
I am the absolute worst at painting my nails, so don't judge!!  It's weird, I can paint portraits but I can't paint my nails.  It doesn't make much sense to me!

    Thanks so much! I can't wait for him to get out of the position he's in right now, it's just too dangerous. This position is a little bit farther from home but at least I know he won't be walking through dangerous areas all day

    Thank you so much!! I am so proud and excited for him. He's going to be a lot less stress at work and he is out of the dangerous environment he was in before so that makes me really happy. I'm a worrier.

    Thanks so much! Maybe if I keep practicing with my nails, I will get better. I am terrible at painting my right hand! haha! It was probably laughable to watch me try to do it. The left hand wasn't so bad (because I'm right handed).

    Thanks so much!! We had a nice simple dinner out...nothing too amazing but we just wanted to get a drink and celebrate so it was perfect. I can't wait for him to start. I hope he likes it!

    I absolutely LOVED the floral print one, so I definitely tried that one first. I am saving the other one for when I feel brave enough to paint my nails again. hahaha! Thank you so much again for sending them to me. They are so cool!

    Thank you Kasi!! I am trying to do the same thing, bring more skirts and dresses out of my closet. I always seem to overlook them in the winter, but it's starting to get a teeny bit warmer so maybe if I start wearing the skirts it will bring the warm weather out sooner?! haha, a girl can hope, right?

    Thank you so much! I really thought the Jamberry nails were cool. I only had the accent nails so I had to paint the other ones, but if I bought one of their full sets them I wouldn't have to worry about painting my nails and that would make it even better! lol
