OUTFIT: Dating my husband


Whoa, a second date day with my husband this month?!  Craziness!  A couple weeks ago when we went out, I wore some leopard print .  This time I went a little bit more girly with some floral print.  This past Friday was the first official day of Spring, so I have been trying to bring out the floral prints!  I'm not a huge girly girl so I love that this floral print has a black background, it tones down the girliness a bit for me.

It really needs to start getting warmer around here.  I need to get a little bit of color on those legs.  Yikes!  haha!

My husband and I went out to eat at PF Changs (soooo good!), I did some shopping at Charming Charlie, and then we went home to relax without the baby for a little while.  It was nice to get to lounge around and be lazy at home until my mom dropped our daughter back off at home.

You may have also noticed that I wasn't around blogland much this weekend.  I decided to unplug for a little while.  I think it's good to do that sometimes.  I feel refreshed and ready for this week now though!

    I love that skirt! Sounds like a fun date. I don't consciously unplug at the weekend, but I definitely do spend time away from technology, whether it's just to read or if I go out for the afternoon.

    Girl, we're all pasty white right now! One of my best friends used to always say, "work the white" so I adopt her motto in the spring. Because there's no color on these legs yet either! Yay for your date night :) I usually unplug on the weekends until Sunday when I try to get posts prepared for the week. I don't do much blog stuff on Friday and Saturday unless I just find myself with extra time!

    Thanks so much! I am going to try to make a point of staying offline on the weekends. The internet already sucks up a lot of my life during the week. haha! I will take a night on Sat or Sun to write my posts for the week but other than that I'm going to give it a shot!

    haha I like that, work the white!! LOL! I might have to adopt that one too. I think I am going to try to make a habit out of keeping the computer off until it's time to sit down and write my posts for the week. I think Sunday nights will be my "computer time" and that's it. It was really refreshing to be internet free for a day or two.

    Thank you so much! We had a great relaxing day. We even went for a nice long walk in the park. It's been a while since we got to do that because it's been so cold. I've been trying to spend a little more time off the computer lately. We'll see how it goes! lol

    Aww I am so happy you two are taking time for yourselves on the weekends. Its like, I know life is busy, but we all need to take a minute to enjoy the company of people we love. So I am glad you are doing that. I need to be more firm in making time to do date nights :)

    Thanks so much! It is definitely nice to get out and have time to just be a couple instead of just mom and dad for a while. lol! It's been a while since we were able to have a few hours of uninterrupted talks. It's crazy around here with a 2 year old begging for attention at all times. haha

    Thank you so much! I am definitely going to make it a habit of enjoying the weekends WITHOUT the computer more often. It was very "freeing". I write all of my posts for the week over the weekend but I can save that for late Sunday night
