Today is day #25 of the Blogtober Challenge and today's writing prompt is: Favorite Book.
This was probably the easiest post for me to write out of this whole challenge. haha! My favorite book of all time is Pride and Prejudice. I re-read it once a year, and I own the movie (the one with Keira Knightley). I'm a little obsessed.
Not only am I a complete sucker when it comes to a great love story but I also really fell in love with the characters. I loved Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy's witty banters but also how deeply he loved her. And of course the moment she realizes she loves him too. Soooo soo good! What girl didn't dream of having her own "Mr. Darcy"?!
What is your favorite book of all time?
Good choice, I know I'm not the only one who imagined myself as Elizabeth so Darcy could be mine! That was a really good film adaptation too. Did you ever watch Lost in Austen? It was a British adaptation so I doubt it was ever shown in America but it was really good. Gave a different perspective to Pride and Prejudice :) Would recommend it definitely!

I've actually never heard of it. I will definitely try to find it online! Thank you so much for the suggestion. I love anything about/by Jane Austen. Yeah, I definitely wished I was Elizabeth so I could have Darcy too! haha

ReplyDeletePride and Prejudice is one of my faves too!!! I had a big Jane Austen anthology and would read it on my lunchbreaks. Good stuff!!!

ReplyDeleteI have a Jane Austen anthology too. It has 4 of her stories in it. I read them all over and over again throughout the year. lol
