  • Sandcastle water park - Featuring a bunch of different kinds of water slides (tubes, speed slides, and body slides), a wave pool, a regular pool, a lazy river, and even a kiddie pool and playground.  It's fun for all ages. www.sandcastlewaterpark.com
  • Kennywood amusement park - Kennywood is one of the oldest amusement parks in America.  It was founded in 1898 and has been considered a National Historic Landmark since 1987.  Obviously it has grown with the times and features steel and wooden coasters, water rides, and even has a kiddie land for the little ones   www.kennywood.com/

  • Visit "The Point" at Point State Park - This is where the Allegheny and Monongahela rivers meet to form the Ohio River - thus "The 3 Rivers" .  This is where you will also find the Fort Pitt Museum, where you can learn about the history in the area.

  4. I've honestly never thought about going to Pittsburgh as a vacation, but it looks like there is tons of fun stuff to do! The caverns look fun. Missouri has a ton of caves. I would enjoy that, for sure!

  7. The caverns are really beautiful but I had a little trouble with it because I'm so claustrophobic. haha!! We have a lot of mountains, so if you are into hiking or rock climbing it is a great place to go. There's also a lot of history and art culture in the area.

  9. haha! My husband and I love hiking and rock climbing, so it is great for that with all of the mountains. I felt a bit claustrophobic in the caverns but it was so beautiful!

    I would add RADical Days (free museum admission) and include a note to the Warhol entry: Good Fridays with half off admission and a cash bar! I'll have to try that salsa dancing soon.
