Callanan Trooper hat review

Hey you guys!!  We FINALLY got snow around here!  This is the first snow we've had so far this Winter, which is really strange for Pittsburgh at this time of year.

I know I've said it a billion times, but I am a HUGE sissy when it comes to the cold.  I start shaking like a little chihuahua almost instantly.  If I don't have my ears covered than I will most definitely end up with an earache.  That's why it was absolutely perfect timing that I was sent this amazingly cozy hat for review right before we got our first wave of snow.  Maybe they knew something I didn't know!

This hat is so comfortable and warm.  It keeps my ears warm without making me deaf, which is a good thing when you have a little one running around.  Honestly, I wasn't sure if I was going to like it or not because I think I look terrible in hats, but I actually really like this one a lot.  I think it's because it's so warm!

The Nylon Puff Trooper comes in chocolate, red, silver, and black and retails for $30.  It  has a warm fleece lining and faux fur trim, and is also a one size fits all.

What do you think of my new hat??  Are you a big sissy (like me) about the cold weather?

  2. I think it looks ADORABLE on you! I love it!! And I am a wimp in the cold too ... but living in AZ for 30+ years will thin your blood ... or having 110+ degrees for 8 months and then it drops to 50 degrees in one day .. yeah ... my blood is thin now! LOL!!!!

  3. That hat is so cute. I'm a HUGE baby in the cold! I'm convinced that I was meant to live somewhere hot. Seriously though, my body starts to ache and my hands, feet, and mouth stop working haha I'm just a mess! I have this huge puffer jacket that I wear and it has the biggest hood. It blocks the wind and keeps me warm, but then I can't see or hear anything! You look great :)

  13. Thank you so much! We had wind chill below zero today. It was soooo cold! The kind of cold that when the air touches bare skin it actually stings. Yuck! And I think we are supposed to get more snow overnight. I think I'm moving to Florida! haha

  14. Thank you so much! I really should wear it out more. I always get compliments on it when I wear it. But it's one of those, too hot for Fall, and too thin for Winter kind of things. haha! I just try to layer a warmer shirt underneath in the winter.

  16. It really is! I get those cold earaches really easy and it definitely helped me with that. My sister always wears her winter hats too. She could pull off any hat she tried tho

  17. haha Thanks girl! I really need to wear it more often! I think I need to move somewhere warmer. Pittsburgh is not the place for a person that is a sissy about the cold. The wind chill factor was below zero today. Gross!

  21. That hat is adorable! It looks super warm and cozy. If I'm going to be outside for a long time, I HAVE to wear a hat or knit headband. Cold ears are so painful! Plus I always wear a scarf and gloves.

  22. Yeah, I am the same way. I get terrible earaches and they last forever!! So annoying! I just wore this hat again yesterday because it got so cold.... and I didn't get around to doing anything with my hair ;-) It's a win/win! haha
