House tour {Master Bedroom}

Hello everyone, and welcome to the first day of my House Tour.  Today we are starting with the Master Bedroom

I should start by telling you this,  our house is a very small two bedroom.  All of the rooms are pretty small (which is one of the reasons we are thinking about moving).  We moved in almost three years ago, and it is still a work in progress.  You would think that we would have it all together by now, but I am a very indecisive person and am constantly changing things around.

ANYWAY, a couple weeks ago I entered a giveaway on Jade & Oak to win a bed set from Beddingstyle.com and I actually won!!  I couldn't believe it.  So I got to pick out $200 worth of product from their website, and this is what I chose:

I chose this gorgeous purple bed set and added white touches, just to give it a little something.  When the hubby gave me the okay to go ahead with a purple bed set, I went for it!  I'm a little obsessed with purple.

Here is a view of the other side of the room.  In the corner I have a purple bin FULL of boots because I haven't found a "neat" way to display them yet.  The big blue pillow is for when I'm reading or blogging in bed, it really helps my back a lot.

And yes, just in case you are wondering, that IS a cupcake/cookie display rack next to the tv. I use it to keep things neat.  I keep rings and other accessories on it, along with nailpolish...and even spare change when I'm feeling super lazy.

I use a cork board to display my necklaces, not only to keep them neat, but also to remind me that I have them.  I have a bad habit of buying jewelry and not wearing it because I forget I have it.  And I also feel like if I can see it then I am more likely to wear it!

I decided to buy some bracelet and earring organizers for the same reason: if it's out then I'll be more likely to wear it.  I keep the nicer jewelry that my hubby buys me in my jewelry box for safe keeping.

I used to have a second dresser for my clothes but since the room was small I had to go back to just the one and get a little creative about where I put some of my clothes.  I bought these two plastic drawer organizers from Wal-Mart and decided that I would use them to store some of my clothing and accessories.  It may not be the prettiest thing ever but it works for now!  I measured and cut scrapbook paper to put it the front of the drawer so they aren't see through.  And don't mind the full hamper of laundry, that's typical around here. haha!

Not pretty but I have the over the door shoe organizer for flats and sandals, and my scarf organizer.

And that's our Master Bedroom!  Nothing too extravagant for us.  There is so much I would love to do with this space, so I suspect it will keep changing.

Thanks for stopping in!
