I finished another watercolor painting! I sat down and forced myself to do it, and I'm so glad I did. It was so relaxing to take a little "me" time and paint a scene from one of my favorite movies.
Just in case you don't know, this painting is from The Fifth Element starring Bruce Willis and Milla Jovovich. Milla plays Leeloo in the movie. It's a strange Sci-fi movie but I really love it. Maybe it's my crush on Bruce Willis... who knows!!
Unfortunately, I completely forgot to take progress photos...fail! But here is a reference photo just in case you've never seen the movie.
What do you think?? Have you ever seen the Fifth Element?
Beautiful. As always :)

ReplyDeleteI think you nailed it! I know I've said it before, but you are so talented. I went through a big Milla Jovovich phase, so I have of course seen this movie! I actually even got my hair cut like hers once, although not the hair from this movie haha
ReplyDeleteYou really caught her in your portrait. Nice work. I don't really care for that film- but my husband loves it so I've seen it several times.
ReplyDeleteThanks! Yeah, it's definitely n ot everyone's cup of tea. haha! I think I was just a huge fan because of Bruce Willis honestly. I'm not much of a Sci-fi girl...unless it's star wars. lol
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I really loved Milla Jovovich in this movie too and watched her in a few others because of it. lol! I thought her hair was awesome in this movie...but I could never pull it off. lol
