2014 was a big year for my art, and I feel like this blog is the reason for that. I started my blog almost exactly a year ago and it really keeps me motivated to keep creating more art.
Thanks so much! Hopefully I can get my creative juices following here and get some art started for next Friday's post! I'm going to try to get even more done in 2015!
haha thank you so much! I really appreciate it so much! I go through these creative phases where I will do nothing but art for a couple months, so I get a lot done all at once. I just end up having a problem with burnout and then go for a month or two with not much or even worse, nothing. I'm going to try to pace myself better this year
Wow, Julie!! You are so talented!! These are so amazing! I'm glad blogging keeps you motivated to keep producing and I can't wait to see what you create in 2015!
Thank you so much Gina <3 I'm trying to get myself motivated to create something for next Friday. I'm going to try to do even more art this year...but we will see, i guess! lol
Julie, oh my gosh! These are so incredible. It's amazing what a blog will push us to do, isn't it? I always love that it holds me accountable. Can't wait to see your work in 2015!
Thank you so much <3 Yeah, this blog has definitely gotten me way more organized and motivated to do my art. I'm going to try to have some new art posted on Friday!
Thanks so much! That is so sweet of you to say! I can definitely tell which ones I did earlier in the year compared to later because my style tends to change over and over. haha!
So happy to get to know you more this year, lady! You have impeccable talent! So impressive to see everything all grouped together like this! I could easily accessorize my whole house with each piece! Carylee | more pieces of me
So glad to see all of your beautiful art again. They are all lovely and I will admit I am a bit jealous of your ability to do portraits. The ability to capture expressions in people always alluded me but that's ok. I like doing animals better anyhow, lol. One day I so want to get into fine arts. Keep on painting and drawing (and sharing) talented lady!
Thank you so much! The Maleficent was the very first watercolor portrait that I ever tried. I'm a big Angelina Jolie fan and a HUGE Disney dork so I knew I wanted to try that one
Thanks so much Carylee! I wish I was a little better at landscapes or still life art so I could decorate the walls in my whole house. Maybe that's something to work on this year! lol. I'm definitely looking forward to more of your amazing outfit posts this year too!
Aww thank you so much! It definitely took A LOT of practice with the portraits. I used to be really terrible at them, so it bothered me and I worked on them constantly. lol! I'm weird like that. I am working on something new for this Friday!
Aww thank you so much! I really appreciate it! I can always see what I don't like about my art, but I'm pretty sure everyone is their own worst critic. haha! I was definitely surprised at how much there was for one year. I'm going to have trouble topping that this year, i think! lol
Whoa! Julie! These are AMAZING!! I absolutely love the Game of Thrones ones. Khalisi (spelling?) is my girl crush. Gorgeous! You have so many different styles. It's so cool to see the different colors and styles. What do you do with your paintings when you're done? Do you hang any of them?
Thank you Lauren! My husband is super obsessed with Game of Thrones. He's read all of the books that are out and everything. lol! And Kahleesi is gorgeous! Right now, I only have one or two of them on the walls. The rest of them are in our basement on shelves. lol!
You are amazing! I love them all!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGirl you are so talented! I can't wait to see what you create and 2015!
