November Recap + December Goals

Well, I didn't do as well on my November goals as I would have hoped....   I wanted to create art once a week in November and guess how many I did??  None!  Terrible!  I also wanted to get my bedroom organized, and that didn't happen either!  I DID start taking more photos with a real camera instead of my little camera phone though!  So score one point for me.

I also kept up with my outfit photos!  I've been posting outfit posts once a week.  I went through a very monochromatic period, shared my obsession with tribal print and also animal print, and then added a little bit of color.
I also shared a lot of just for fun posts that told you a little bit more about me and hopefully also made you laugh a little bit.  I shared a list of all the "tall girl problems" I've had, 5 Movies that make me "ugly cry", and even shared my favorite angsty girl songs from the 90s.

My husband's birthday was this past month so I made a fun project for him.  And shared a list of ways to make your man feel special.

December Goals:

Now that Thanksgiving is over I get to focus more on Christmas now!  I'm one of those "one holiday at a time" kind of people, so I shared my Winter Bucket List.  I have a lot of things I would like to do this Winter.

Other December Goals:

//  I will be liking up a lot with Ashley at The Grits Blog and Tay at Tay Meets World for the #BLOGMAS14 Challenge.  I won't be linking up every single day but I will definitely be checking in

//  I'm going to try to post almost every day this month.  I will be doing a lot of Christmas related posts,  DIY projects, and fashion posts.  I've got a lot of things planned for this month that I want to try to fit in.

//  I'm going to be working on a portrait project that I will be posting at the end of the month.  I'm not going to be doing much more art than that (other than crafts).  I haven't felt too inspired lately and I feel like if I take a bit of a break then maybe I will be more excited about it.

//  This one is being carried over from last month, Get my bedroom organized.  It really needs to be done.  Maybe once I do I will have a Bedroom Tour in January.

Do you have any big plans for December?  Will you be linking up with Ashley and Tay??

  1. Hey! Thanks for reminding me that I need to get my December goals post up. This one has snuck up on me a bit. Question for you... can I use your winter bucket list as part of my post {...planning to post this week!} and link back to you? It's one of my favorite winter lists I've seen :)

  5. That DIY project for your guy was so cute! I've been tempted to do something similar, but haven't gotten around to it. I did make one of those date jars though. You know, the ones were you pick out a random date from the jar. :)

  7. I want to start posting a bit more, but I'm not sure it's going to happen in December. I already have so much I want to do! December is a busy month, but a fun one too. Maybe if I can get myself organized enough to have a bunch of scheduled posts saved up! That blue sweater looks gorgeous on you!! Love that colour :)
