5 Things I'm REALLY bad at.

I always see posts of things people are good at or like about themselves so I thought it would be fun to do a post on some things that I am not necessarily the best at.  I tried asking my hubby to help me think of a few so I could add more, but I married a smart man so he says he couldn't think of anything. haha!!

1. Keeping in touch with people
I am THE WORST at trying to keep in touch with friends/family/whoever.  It's not that I don't want to see them, I just get easily sidetracked and lose track of time around the house.  And now that we have baby Paige, I'm even worse with this.

2. Twitter
Seriously!  I just can't figure it out! haha!  It's the old lady in me I guess.  So if you noticed that I am not favoriting your posts, or sharing your giveaways, I'm sorry.  I'm still learning....and it's not going well. I'm not very tech savvy and it takes me a while to "get it".

3. Washing dishes
It's not really that I'm bad at washing them because they are always clean when I'm done; it's that I am REALLY bad at keeping up with them.  They are my least favorite thing to do in the world.  I've even gone as far as to leave them in the sink for a whole week because I hate them that much. I know, gross.  Right?

4. Holding a conversation while the TV is on
It's like a black hole sucking me in!  I can't look away.  It annoys me so bad when other people do it, but I am the same way.  My hubby can call my name a couple times before it even sinks in that someone is talking to me.  So bad!  Aaaand this is why I don't watch tv with Paige around. lol!  It stays on cartoons and I can ignore those!

5. Accepting compliments
My husband just told me to add this one...  He's so right.  Anytime someone compliments my art, I have a bad habit of pointing out everything that I don't like about it or things I could have done better.  It's also very rare when I will accept a compliment about my looks, yes, even from my husband!  I'm my worst enemy sometimes.

Are you bad at some of these things too?  If not, what are some things that you aren't so good at?

  2. Haha, this post is cute! your husband seems like a smart man by keeping quiet. I hate washing dishes, with a passion. I also don't like matching socks, what a waist of time. I'm really bad about accepting comments too. I hope your having a great Thursday!

  3. I am bad at keeping in touch too. I don't mean to but I get so caught up in my own world. Oh I am bad at folding clothes after they are done drying, I will either leave them in the dryer or in the basket.

    1. I'm a weirdo, I like to fold and hang clothes as soon as they are done in the dryer. They are so soft and warm....and I'm always cold so I like anything warm. Matching socks is the worst tho!

  5. I find accepting a compliment to be quite awkward. I'm terrible at laundry and ironing. We'll just group that into one thing to make me feel better about myself! It took me a long time to find value in Twitter. Now I love it. Even the "old" ladies can learn!

  6. I can't take compliments either, it makes we feel weird ''like ok, I'm not that great" is that crazy! I don't have that great of a personality, so I feel I shouldn't be a ''phone friend'' if you will, because I wouldn't know what to take about. ;)

    God bless,
    XO, Claire

  7. I always forget clothes in the dryer (they actually have been there for a couple of days now, and sometimes I won't take them out until I need to use the dryer again :S). I am also very bad at keeping in touch, I think I get really carried away with books, drawing and TV shows that I forget about everything else :)
