I still can't believe it..

This may seem really silly to some, but when I heard the news last night of Robin William's passing I was heartbroken.  His characters were such a big part of my childhood.  When you are a kid and you grow up watching the genie in Aladdin you grow to love him.  And when you watched Hook you wanted to be part of Peter Pan's lost boys crew.

Who doesn't remember rocking out to "Dude Looks Like A Lady" from Mrs. Doubtfire?!?!  Admit it, you all did it!!

Robin Williams had the kind of smile and laughter that could light up a room.  It's so sad to see something as dark as depression on such a good soul.

I refuse to remember the way that he left us.  I will remember him the way I always have.  As the one comedian that could always make me laugh, even when I just had the worst day ever.  The guy who still brings out the kid in me every time I hear "Friend Like Me".  And the reason my friends and I still say "Bangerang!!!".

RIP Robin Williams, you will live on through your characters and never be forgotten.  May the angels delight in your company as much as we have <3  Sometimes the one's that seem the happiest are the most troubled

  4. I was so saddened about it and I thought it was a horrible rumor at first. I loved everything from Popeye to his HBO special standups. His standup on his wife giving birth had me belly laughing. Yes, I was shocked about yesterdays news but he played in movies many manic-depressive characters so him having problems with depression wasnt to much of a revelation to me. Still, unbelievably sad. He was loved by so many people.
