Leopard maxi skirt in the winter

You guys, it is COLD around here!  I plan all of my posts ahead of schedule, so I'm currently writing this on Sunday and it is 4 degrees outside with wind chill around negative 10!  That's just gross.  But I decided to brave the cold for a little bit and get another cute outfit for you.

I absolutely love maxi skirts.  I think they are one of the comfiest pieces of clothing ever, so I even try to incorporate them into my winter wardrobe.  Because it was so cold, I wore black fleece-lined leggings underneath to stay warm.

Sorry, not too many photos for you this time.  I was FREEZING!  My eyes started to water every time the wind blew. haha!  So now I'm curled back up under a blanket with my hot tea.  I'm a big ole sissy!

I'm pretty sure we are supposed to get more snow later this week too.  I am really sick of all this snow!  I hope it doesn't get too bad because it's my little one's birthday and we are having a birthday party for her this weekend.  I still have so many things left to do for her party.  I will probably be rushing around like a mad woman up until the last second.  That's how it usually goes.

Are you getting clobbered by snow too?

  4. This might be my favorite outfit you've ever featured. I just love the leopard print paired with the black. Where is the skirt from? And I don't blame you at all for only having a few pictures... it was 20* here on Sunday and I didn't take ANY because I was too much of a sissy.

  5. Thanks so much Claire! It's my favorite maxi skirt that I own! It's older, and I bought it at Wet Seal on sale! I was really excited about it and probably wore it at least once a week for a while. haha! It is definitely cold here too. I'm very ready for it to start warming up!

  9. This skirt looks amazing on your tall thin frame. That necklace is so cool. We got snow this week for the first time too. I don't know how you people that live in super cold climates do it!

  18. We've had snow days off and on all winter. It's supposed to snow all weekend unfortunately. Not sure I'll be bothering to get dressed those days! Your leopard maxi is adorable! I wear leggings or tights under mine too. Much to cold to go without!

  19. No snow. I would gladly take some of yours. It's been faking us out all week, so I'll be stunned when we actually do get some snow this winter. I love maxi skirts any time of the year. I have a black pleated one that I wear with leggings under it. It's a warm and slimming look.
